🗺️ Your Hero's Journey Begins
Every hero recruited in QuestBorn is preparing for something bigger than a simple mission.
They are embarking on a long-term Quest across one of the many regions of the QuestBorn world.
A Quest can last for many months. During this time, your hero repeatedly ventures into the wilderness, explores dangerous places, collects loot, returns to the Guild to recover, and then continues the journey.
One Quest. Many Adventures.
⚔️ Step 1 — Recruit Your Hero
Every Quest begins with recruitment.
Visit the Heroes page and choose the adventurer you want to add to your Guild.
Before recruiting, check the hero's characteristics carefully:
🗺️ Step 2 — The Quest Begins
Once recruited, your hero begins their assigned Quest.
This is not a one-day mission.
A hero may spend hundreds of days completing their journey through a region.
For example, a Quest with a duration of 200 days represents a long expedition made up of many individual adventure cycles.
Your hero does not simply disappear for 200 days and return at the end.
Instead, the Quest progresses through daily cycles.
🕐 Step 3 — Understanding the 24-Hour Cycle
This is one of the most important mechanics in QuestBorn.
While a hero may have a Quest lasting many months, their adventure operates around a 24-hour cycle.
During each cycle, your hero ventures into the world and continues exploring their Quest location.
When that adventure cycle is completed, the hero returns carrying the loot gathered during the expedition.
But the Quest isn't over.
It was only another day of the journey.
💎 Step 4 — Your Hero Returns With Loot
After completing the daily adventure cycle, your hero brings back the loot collected during that part of the Quest.
This is your hero's Daily Loot.
The amount can vary according to the characteristics of the hero you recruited.
You can follow the loot collected by your active heroes through Hero Quests.
🔧 Step 5 — Guild Maintenance
Adventuring isn't easy.
Weapons need attention. Armor gets damaged. Magical supplies need to be restored. Heroes need food, equipment, and a place to recover.
That's where Guild Maintenance comes in.
Guild Maintenance is part of the hero's daily adventure cycle and represents the resources required to keep the adventurer prepared to continue their Quest.
Different heroes may have different maintenance requirements.
🔥 Step 6 — Rest, Prepare, Continue
After returning with loot and completing Guild Maintenance, the hero prepares for another adventure.
They are still assigned to the same Quest.
When the next cycle begins, they head back into the world and continue their journey.
This process repeats throughout the hero's entire Quest Duration.

📜 How Do I Track a Quest?
Once you have recruited a hero, open Hero Quests from your account.
There you can monitor important information about the journey:

🌙 Do I Need to Keep QuestBorn Open?
No.
QuestBorn is designed as an idle game.
Your hero's journey is not dependent on keeping the website open in your browser.
You can leave the Guild, return later, and check how your adventurers are progressing.
🏁 What Happens When the Quest Ends?
Every journey eventually reaches its final day.
Once all days of the hero's Quest Duration have been completed, that long expedition comes to an end.
The hero will no longer continue the daily adventure cycle associated with that Quest.
You can always return to your records to see the history of the adventurers you recruited and the journeys your Guild has undertaken.
